What is legalization?

Consular legalization is a procedure for giving legal force to any text abroad. This is essentially the same as an apostille, but a longer procedure.

Where is legalization needed?

Legalization is needed if:

The country where the document is needed is a party to the Hague Convention of 1961, but it specifically requires not an apostille, but legalization for some reason (it just requires!)

Information: You will definitely need legalization, not apostille, to such countries as: UAE, Iran, Turkmenistan, 90% of African countries.

Information: This list is incomplete and includes only those documents that are most often requested for legalization.

How we make legalization?

You bring the documents to our office / you send them by mail with the power of attorney for our employee, notarized in the Republic of Belarus.

We translate the document.

We certify the translator’s signature by a notary.

We make an appointment in the Ministry of Education, or the Ministry of Justice, or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (depending on the document).

We make an appointment in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to affix a legalization inscription.

On the appointed day we receive this little piece of paper.
